He left for Iraq last year the day before Thanksgiving.
It was a BLUE CHRISTMAS for us last year.
If they let him come home after a year, it will
be a joyous holiday for sure!!
We will be doing a lot of praying
on our anniversary

Not this year,
but DH made breakfast for the two of us this morning!
We have a lot more on our minds this year, if you know what I mean.
Some of the troops from Fairbanks were given extended duty recently,
just days before they were supposed to come home
after already doing an 18-month tour.
Our hearts go out to all of their families and
children.

It's not up to them!!
They have to process the citizenship papers for her.
Peru is very strict about passports...she was not able to
go to France,Italy, and Spain when they had a vacation
recently,so they had to go to Cairo,Egypt.
He later went to Spain to run with the bulls by himself,
after she returned to her studies in Peru.
I'm hoping she gets her millitary spouse status
soon, then she can come and live with me until
he returns to the states.

Hugs
