steffi was in the stands. sadly ...he lost. not a dry eye in the house and very long standing ovations for him. i cannot imagine playing in pain like that. helloked liked he was in agony and could not wait to finish.
Extremely foggy when I went to work. Good thing I know where our driveway is at work, or I easily could have missed it! It was foggy/drizzly all day at work, then when it was time to go home, the sun finally broke through and the skies are blue now! Ha
i hate driving in the fog. it can be scary. YEAH...on the sun popping out :O) i was watching another show on travel channel about alaska. what beautiful country....aaahhh! some day.....til the i have the travel channel :O)
it is very dark out now. there is no moon or stars shining tonight :O( it got quiet here. guess everyone is having dinner now,
hope your cold doesn't last long. hate summer colds. they always seem to know when we bring home something good. how nice of you to share...lol bummer on having to work. hope it is a quick day
Well, a short day means less pay. But there won't be as many rooms as all those full houses we had in May, June, and July, and we had to have two gals every day. I can do it all, but I can get done a lot faster if someone else does the running back and forth for me. I'm fast doing the work in the rooms, I just can't walk back and forth to the laundry and back real fast anymore! Ha
Like many small towns, some places are year round, others close up and the owners head south for warmer weather and other occupations during the winter. Our town hasn't decided if it wants big franchises or remain a "fishing hamlet by the sea" But that means higher prices at the stores for us simple folks! You can't have both! Ha

Beautiful weather here this weekend,
High in middle 70's to low 80's ..
Cloudy/sunny with a breeze ..
Now if only I had gotten out for a walk in it :)
Good thing I know where our driveway is at work,
or I easily could have missed it!

I got home around 3:30,
after going to the store
to return videos and get
some cold medicine and
a take out dinner.
I walked in and DH already
knew I brought home Chineese.
I guess he could smell it!
It's only 5pm here now and the
sun is shining.
So I'm good to play for a couple
of hours.
We don't have to get up early
tomorrow, because of the holiday,
but I still have to go to work at
9am.
Hugs
