I am NOT a morning person. I usually don't fall asleep until it's time to get up. I set my alarm for 30 minutes before I absolutely have to get up & push the snooze button 3 times. I know it makes more sense to get the extra 30 minutes of uninterrupted sleep, but I'm going to push that button no matter what so I need to set it early. :)

Hey Kim,
Shouldn't you be in bed now?
Do you mean you only allow yourself 30 minutes to get ready to go?
Or 30 minutes allows for extra time?
I can understand why you're not a morning person ..
Are you able to sleep in a bit on the weekends?
If pushing that button works for you .. then keep pushing :)

Now the boys are out of the house,
I have to use DH's schedule.
This summer we got up early to drive him to the
truck yard, then I'd go home and sleep until it was
time to get up for my work.
Now things are slowing down for both our jobs,
so we just live for a phone call to call us in.
Later,in the year, we'll decide something else is better.

Hi Breezy,
So no alarm clock at all for you?
Is it the phone now that walks you?
Think I am confused ::blush::
Bet it would be really cool just to sleep in :)

Yes I should be in bed, I'm gonna head that way in a few minutes & hope I can sleep. I just drank some chamomile tea hoping that it would help my upset stomach & help me fall asleep. It takes me about 45 minutes to get ready & leave the house once I'm up. I just always set the alarm 30 minutes before I need to actually get up so that I will definately get up on time. I can sleep in sometimes on the weekend, but I'm better at falling asleep for a nap during the day for some reason. So I always like it when we don't have a busy weekend planned.I wish we had naptime at work, lol.

What about you? Do you push the snooze button or get right up?

Naw,
Dh thinks he has a mental alarm clock,
but sets one or two anyways,
he gets up before they go off,
and I know when he's up.
I can look at the clock
and relax until it's time to
really get up and leave.
We're just funny old folks.
He always has a good sense of time,
even when we lived in the semi,
he never needed an alarm.
When I started working, he'd get
up aheead of time to make sure I
didn't sleep in. he has a time
thing, and is the kind of guy
who has to be an hour early.
(As opposed to my sister, who
makes a blind date wait for her
an hour in a restaurant, or makes
the airline board all the passengers
and then she arrives and makes them
hold the takeoff while she she
uses the restroom before boarding!!)
funny,eh?

This is a cute poll.........

I don't use an alarm clock so I get up when I'm good and ready to get up!

If I have to be at the airport or something, then I am a good girl, I set the alarm to when I need to et up and then I get up when it goes off.....
