I've heard that even Queen Elizabeth and Rod Stewart have their frugal side!   QE remakes her ball gowns, using parts from one and adding them to another or changing the sleeves from one style to another, etc etc.   Rod Stewart keeps all his buttons and he mends his socks and worn parts of his shirts......

What  little frugal thing do you do?

I'm not sure maybe reusing plastic bags. The ones you take your groceries home in or get at a clothing store

The only thing I can think of is that I use a dryer sheet twice.

i live on a very tight shoestring budget so frugal is a way of life for me. i refuse to mend socks.

roflmao..reminds me of when ex & i first lived together. he brought out some socks and said they needed darning. i promptly walked to the garbage can, dropped them in and said" DARN...your socks have holes. better buy some new ones!!!"

the only ones i fixed were the knitted ones from his grammie. they were very warm & comfy :O)

We'll only go the movie theater during matinee hours to save a few bucks. We also won't buy drinks & snacks from there, I take a big purse full of our own stuff.
I clip & use coupons, use the plastic grocery bags for other things. I pour the last little bit of cleaning product(example, windex) into a jar & then pour it in the new bottle when there's room. I get that last little bit of toothpaste out of the tube no matter how hard I have to squeeze. :)
