It seems like only yesterday, that horrific day in history,
A day that we shall never forget.
Do you remember where you were, what you were doing?
Did you know anyone personally that was there?
Won't you share your thoughts & memories with us ..
While we remember, give loving thoughts & prayers to so many :)

I had just walked into work & turned the waiting room TV on after the 1st plane hit. We were standing there watching when the 2nd tower was hit. We were just to stunned to believe what we had just seen. We didn't have patients that day so we were glued to the TV. We left in pairs to go donate blood that day. The blood banks were overflowing & every one was hugging & crying with complete strangers. The next few weeks were unlike anything I've ever seen here in my town. Every body was so nice to everyone else & helping strangers with the simplest things. It was like the whole town was one big family & we all wanted to help each other. Unfortunately, that didn't last to long & things became somewhat normal again. I personally became very depressed & paranoid & had to go on medication for awhile. I didn't know anyone that was killed, but I know people who did lose loved ones in the towers. I am still very affected by that day and all that has happened since, as I'm sure everyone is. I cannot & will not watch the movies that have been made about this. I can't believe anyone would!
My sister in law lost a nephew in the war & a friend of my daughter's was killed as well.
I pray everyday for the families who lost loved ones on that day & everyday since.
May God bless & keep you all!
It was the second week of school and one of the first few days of kindergarten for my younger DD. It was a wonderful day so I decided to do some fall cleaning, I started clearing the kitchen to do the floor. In the back ground I had the radio and I realized all that was on was talk and wondered why. When I heard the radio guy say a plane
Just reading your post gave me the chills Kim,
How wonderful you & your co workers were able to donate blood like that.
Too bad the *good feeling* of all didn't last long ::sigh::
Part of the problem .. MHO.
I think we all were effected, depressed in one way or another.
Like you I will not see the movie ..
Nor am I watching anything today .. too difficult to relive that awful time :)
A very tough time wasn't it Paula,
Can imagine how you felt with your dd in school that day.
Think most of us spent the day in shock with many tears.
Never to be forgotten for sure :)
And the rest was history so to speak Suzan :)
