I have this situation at work where my boss turns out to be a sexist pig. Some people say it sounds fine to them others say its not right tell me what you think by this situation.
-Situation-
I know my schedual for the whole week but something came up on monday evening that is a VERY personal situation that needs to be taken care of. So I make some phone calls and I need one of the days I work off. I talk to the assistant manager about it and she tells me to use my Paid Time Off. So I plan on doing that and make a couple more phone calls that after noon. Thursday comes and I speak to my boss and tell him my emergency situation and he rolls his eyes at me and he tells me I can not us it because the "Our store is down alot of money and were up against $14,000 day". And also he says my emergency situation is not covered under my paid time off, that only being sick is. But we just hired this new girl last week and she made her schedual last week. Well after I talked to my manager and im trying to figure out what else I can do. She walks into his office tells him she can't work and he tells her ok you have it off. Now she is very pretty girl but does this seem right. She has been there a week and I am the one who switches my schedual around and covers other peoples shifts to help out to be nice and make things run smoothly. Not to mention I have ever called off, or have been late. What should I do?????!!!!!????? HELP

Call in sick or use it as a paid day.
Do what you need to do to get the day off.
No reason why you can't/shouldn't be allowed to take a personal day :)
Id talk to youre boss and tell him what you just told us.
Seens there is some favouritism there.
