An oldie but a goodie that I don't think has been tried here. The idea is everyone both lurkers and regular posters write an unending story three words at a time. Each subsequent poster adds three more words. The only rules are:
Only three words at a time.
You can't post again till someone else has added three words.
You never end the story.

End of September was a hectic,
strange three days.
I wondered if I would ever get to see
the light of the silvery moon.
It bet it wouldnt rain today, the rain was
misting lightly grey drops of flaky wet moisture.
Then suddenly it begins to flash in bright golden
rays of light. My toddler, Ryan, began to cry and hide under
