Hi I posted in the what you reading section about getting my reading caught up at the campground. Well this is not going to happen. DH had really bad day at work and got home later then we planed so left later.(campground only 40 min. away) Got there and started to set up only to see we had the most loud and rude campers next to us. I think I could of heard their music at home. They kept up the music and I went to the office to cmplain and they sent some one down to quiet them down. That lasted all of 5 minutes. DH got very mad and not in a good mood and thought we should just come back home and go back today and possible pack up the camper and call it a season. My question is don't people think anymore about bothering other people. I am all for a fun time but not a my neighbors expense. I am not looking forward to going back but I have to I left all my reading stuff in the camper and a nice apple crisp sitting on the table. Have a good day.

Hi there Mom,
Too bad that happened ::sigh::
What a shame others had to ruin your camping time.
Not sure why or understand why others are not consider it.
Moreso at places like that .. were they young people?
I mean without kids of their own?
Will you go again or was that the last?
Sorry about that.

I hope they were quieter when you went back. That's just plain rude. It's one thing to have it loud when no one else is around, but they should have turned it down when they saw that you were there.

Holy cow! That's really weird. Not sure whether I think that's a good idea. But I do like quiet. How does this work in a big city? Kids can't play outside & noisy normal kid things on summer evenings?!

I'm in the burbs, but in the city it works well, (indoors), because of the quiet times, you can take a nap, or you can sleep at night without being disturbed by noisy neighbors upstairs.... it wonderful.....

You have to be quiet indoors, too?!

Well, what hours do people normally work? This doesn't sound like the "man of the house" has much time to cut the grass, do odd jobs, stuff like that. And what about people who make their living doing that sort of work?

Not to mention that stores close a 8pm here in the downtown area, 6pm weekdays and noon

Well, the relaxing part I can relate to! But as a single woman who's worked all her life, some of those restrictions sound pretty daunting to me!
