Do you ask for a "Doggie Bag"?

***Do you ask for a doggie bag when you leave a restaurant?
***Do you think the portions served in restaurants are getting too large?
***Would you rather have smaller portions and pay less OR pay more and have the larger portion enabling you to have it for lunch at home the next day..... hmmmmmm leftovers again! Do you think it would be a good idea to at least have the choice of small or large portions?
I was reading an iVillage blog (the first one I've ever read) about doggie bags,,,, and wanted to share it with you.... it's a cute article, bags are cute, too !

I remember your talking about the bags on the Simple Living board. I have a whole passle of canvas bags that I use at the supermarket. I almost never see anybody else carrying their own bags. :( They give you 3 cents back for reusing paper bags, but nobody does it.
Yikes! I would miss the No Smoking option. In NY City now, you can't smoke in public at all--bars, resaurants, anywhere. Now they're considering a ban on all trans fat in all eating establishments in NYC.
