Last night I finished reading Goddesses of Kitchen Avenue. Story of the friendships among a group of women. No idea who the author was, but I really lked it.
I actually bought 4 used DVDs at Blockbuster a while ago, but haven't watched any of them yet. And haven't watched any TV in quite a while. I'm convincd that "House" is avoiding me. LOL. I haven't figured out when it's on, so every night I check the schedule to see if it's on. I swear I read 8:00, 9:00, & 10:00. It's never there. When I complained at lunch today, somebody said it was on twice last night! What the heck??! And that's happened befoe. :( I've only managed to see it once so far.
This weekend I'll go to a Game Night at a friend's. No music events til next week.

"...how about a "wine tasting party" ??????
We play versions of Charades & Pictionary. Also a game we made up, where each person has a piece of paper & writes an opening sentence for a story. Then you pass the paper to the next person & he writes the 2nd sentence. The next person writes the next sentence, etc., until everybody has written one sentence for every story. Then we read them out loud. It's hilarious. And there are a couple of people you don't want to sit next to, because they're the "creative types," and will write some bizarre thing that is hard to follow up. And if you're next to them, you have to follow them on every story. LOL.
Sometimes somebody will make up other games, too. It's great fun.
