A few weeks ago, he emailed me that Tommy Fleming, my favorite singer, had a brand-new CD coming out. I ordered last payday, two weeks ago. Michael emailed me that he expected the stock to arrive the next week and would send my copy as soon as he received it.
This past Tuesday Michael sent me an abject email. Before he ships a CD, especially as far away as California, he inspects and plays it to be sure it's okay (his customer service is absolutely stellar). Well, he checked it out for me, made and mailed the package -- and then discovered to his horror that he'd forgotten to put the disc back in and had mailed me the empty case! He apologized profusely and said he'd mailed the replacement CD to me, and that something he'd put in the package would make me smile.
It sure did -- he hand-wrote on the invoice, "Play immediately -- you'll love it!
(In reading the credits on the CD, I found they'd included Tommy's email address! I'm in the process right now of working up the nerve to write to him. He has a knack for picking songs that reach the deepest places in my heart. I'm trying to figure out how to thank him without sounding corny.)

Thanks for sharing it here :)
