Christmas Music??? NOW???
| Mon, 11-06-2006 - 10:04am |
One of the radio stations I listen to started playing Christmas music on November 1st! And I was in a store over the weekend and they had C'mas music going! It's too soon! Can't they wait till after Thanksgiving?? If I have to listen to holiday music now, I'll hate every carol by December 1st! Even the ones I start out liking!
WHY do some places want to rush the season? Can't they let one holiday get over with before starting another?
What do you think? Do the radio stations and stores in your area start playing holiday music in November? Do you like it, if they do?

They rush the season.
Folks are surprised to see Christmas stuff
displayed on the shelf next to the Halloween stuff
when they go shopping for
BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!
When I was watching tv on Halloween night
they were showing Christmas movies!!
The banks already have their lights on the
trees lit and their rooftops.
And the guy in the new house across the road
has already lit his tree next to the lake!
It's too bad about Christmas carols.
I enjoy them, too.
But when you work in a store and the
management decides on the music to
get the shoppers in a seasonal mood,
it's as annoying as listening to that
Singing Santa toy they stick near the
registers. The shoppers only have to hear
it for five minutes or so, while
the employees are there all day exposed
to that noise!
LOL,

but you get my drift.
I have NOT heard any XMAS music yet, and hope that I don't!
Even some of the ads above our threads have christmas themes already.
(We can sure do a whole month of griping about it,eh?)
Haven't heard any yet & don't want to :)
