QOTW:Ziplock Bags........

As of today all European flights also require that passengers use a ziplock clear plastic bag (which is given away free at the airport) to transport certain toiletries onto a plane.  Other items can go in a cosmetic bag in your hand luggage.   I've never had to do this before, and personally think it's a grandious waste, but that's just my opinion....   and here I thought we were all trying to save the environment by NOT using plastic bags etc. (Well I'll save those comments for the Living Green Board!)

1. What are your thoughts on this issue of having to use these bags?

2.  have you had to board a plane using the Ziplock bag?

3.  Did you forget and pack a lipstick or other item in your cosmetic bag only to have it consficated at the gate?  (oh boy, there goes my new $24.00 Estee Lauder lipstick!OMG))))

I don't have a problem.
When I travel I know I can get
what I need when I get to my destination,
so why bother dragging everything
with me?
When I wen't to my sister's house
I just took a small backpack.
I stayed there a month.
I bought what I needed and
left it all there when I went home.
I walked to the airport and
home again when I returned.
I think everyone doesn't realize
they don't have to take it all with them,
or they can live without most of the
stuff for a few days.
But that's my opinion.
