DH likes to wait untin Christmas Eve,
but I think two weeks before Christmas is fine,
except nowadays everything is all rejected stuff
and all "picked over" by then.
So if you want to shop the stuff when it is freshly
new in the stores, I'm sad to say you have to keep
your eyes open from Halloween on!
Sometimes even before that.
But unless you make all your presents yourself,
being a traditionalist is outdated in today's
modern world!

Hi Breezy,
You are right about stuff being picked over so soon ..

to wake up some morning and see a new car with no troubles in my driveway.when you live on a shoesting budget there is no extra $$ for anything frivolous. that's life. i treated myself to a haircut...that was frivolous enough for now.

I usually start about 2 months before Christmas, and do most of my shopping online.
