I HATE waiting!
| Fri, 11-17-2006 - 11:09am |
I've done the bills and would like to go into town to the bank and grocery store. But I don't feel comfortable doing that because I might get my new cell phone today and might have to sign for it and because a guy who bought our old car on ebay might call today about picking it up.
So here I sit - wasting time waiting for two things that probably won't even happen today. But I'm sure, if I did go into town, the package would arrive and the guy would call while I was away!

Sounds like a chance to tie up some loose ends at home!
Put on your fav CD and start baking cookies or a pie.
Give your self a manicure or pedicure.
Cream your face and give yourself a facial.
Rub some cream into your feet and put on some wooly socks.
Wash some windows or a few mirrors.
Straighten out the spice rack or the closet.
Pick up all the old newspapers and magazines for recycling.
Make a list of the steps you'll do on TDay so you don't
forget the cranberry sauce in the back of the fridge.
Polish your shoes and check your holiday outfit
to see if your jewelry matches.
Make a hair appointment and keep it.
The list goes on......
Stop thinking about what you can't do
and plan some positive action that
will reap it's rewards later.
Hugs
Ann,
I hope you received your package and the person called for the car today.
Well, my cell phone did arrive - although I didn't have to sign for it.

Everything happen as it was suppose to?
Get anything done while waiting?
Hoping things went as planned & you did get other things done :)
Well, I got the phone, but the guy never called or showed up.
I did a little around here, though. Wrote out some Christmas cards, balanced my checkbook, cleaned a little (very little, lol). I suppose I can do the shopping and bank stuff tomorrow. Then dh can wait around for the guy to call or show!

Way to go on getting started with those holiday cards too.
Definitely let DH wait tomorrow :)
Waiting time is your gift to yourself,
make sure you are happy with it!

I always keep a crossword puzzle book or two in the car,
as well as some new cds that I want to learn the words to the songs.
I'm always waiting for someone,so that way at least I
can enjoy myself, even if it's scribbling a post card or short
note to mail to my sister later.
