Sending care packages...?

How would one go about sending a care package to a solider in Iraq or whereever?  Do you have to have a specific person in mind or can you just send stuff in general to the soliders?  Has anyone here done this before?  I thought that this board would be a good place to ask this questions since I know we have some posters with family/friends in the military.

Thanks!

amber gave good sites. also go to your local legion or vfw and local reserve /guard centers. this way you can send a care package to local troops that may be there.

it is a wonderful thing to do. our local boys who came home recently said how great it was to recieve so many cards and packages from the us and home especially at the holidays.
