or so we know where we live it is...Everytime the weather takes a drastic turn(meaning not 90+ degrees down to below 50 degrees) our internet goes out...every single year..so for the last week I have been battling the cable co(only place that has internet where we live) to find out what the deal is..well they said the other day it will be up soon..so it was..but it would go out every 5 minutes..last night i went to bed and it was off, woke up still off, call up the tech ppl, says major outage...expect this to continue on as long as we battle the cold...and then when it gets hot again, to deal with it then..

geez, i hate not having the internet, esp when I have a thesis to write (need my resources from online and be able to post the assignments on the computer) so here's hoping that i can keep my connection because if it doesnt, me having all the kids home for the week, ill be bald from frustration LOL

yep, its crazy..i dont understand it..back home in VA with Cox we had tropical storm/hurricanes and the dang on cable internet still stayed on, the power went out first yet here its like a cool breeze hits and its gone...last year some "tech" tried to fix it and clipped a main line, so everyone was without for a week..seems like the problem wasnt fixed again and its very frustrating because we pay 80 a mo for this internet..but i will be calling the cable co and getting a month free..last year we didnt have to pay for 3 mos because of it..so hopefully we can save this money this year as well..even if so, i like to have a product that works at least 99% of the time, not 75% but til the other companies come in , we are stuck with this company for the time being..that or go back to dial up
