Hi Ladies,
I thought we could take a trip down memory lane today.

What teacher do you remember most?
Why?

Let's give thanks to some of these very special people of service and how they truly can help to make a difference in the life of our youth.

I was 11,just started high school,(we start high school at 11 in England)Her name was Miss Lloyd and she had flaming red hair.

She always took the time to sit and talk to me,i was unbelievably shy back then, funny i was thinking about her a few days ago.

That would be Sister Mary Leonora, my first grade teacher.

The teacher that comes directly to my mind -- is my 3rd grade nun- Sister Mary Dunstin.

What teacher do you remember most? my 4th grade teacher Mrs. King
Why? i remember the day the challenger exploded, she sat there at her desk crying softly, and trying to explain what was going on. we were watching it on tv when it happened. she was one of those teachers that cared about everyone and everything and because of that, i remember her. which is strange since shes only one of 3 teachers i ever remembered :)

In ninth grade I was embarrassed by my illegible handwriting.

She really sounds wonderful.
..sounds like your dad had the typical Irish temperment.
It must have been a comfort for you to have Sister Mary Leonora there for you.
Thank you for sharing.
I had Nun's for teachers too, they can have such a compasionate soul.
