HATE it! When I was a kid and had my tonsils out, I ha a lot of trouble in surgery with blood loss so the doctor prescribed an iron tonic and suggested that it might be more palatable if mixed in a glass of egg nog.
Sorry, but it only made egg nog LESS palatable! And me sick to my stomach!
Turns out I am "sensitive" to eggs, the less cooked, the more sensitive. Not quite an allergy but close. And eggnog is raw eggs! No wonder I was sick.
Still, I have this connection between that vile tonic and eggnog so even if pure eggnog didn't make me sick, the smell and look of it does!
