................had to ask because a earlier tonight I had a doozy of one. After I read this it came so clear,, I just thought "Well, D'oh Suzan, D'oh". Now I'll share mine if you share yours..................
I think it was just last week I asked in a thread, whether you all call it Hot chocolate or cocoa? Well earlier tonight I was flipping through a cookbook looking for something interesting to bake up as a thank you for the dinner we went to last night. So I'm passing through the "dairy drinks/chocolate drinks" section,,, and this popped out at me..... 2 recipes: one for Hot cocoa and one for Hot chocolate. I thought ..."gee that 's odd 2 recipes for the same thing...". WEll , then it dawned on me,,,,,, you call the first one hot cocoa because it is made with cocoa and you call hot chocolate that because you use unsweetened chocolate ........ never dawned on me , I just always thought it was like potato/potahto or stuffing /dressing, just a choice of how you call it....

Oh, where to start -- I have at least two a day!
I always thought of the names "cocoa" and "hot chocolate" as interchangeable. Still do.
I have major short-term memory problems, so I have D'oh moments all the time. Can't think of any right now, though. It's this memory problem... ;o)

I didn't know that !!!!!
MY D'OH moment was last night while doing laundry and recouperating from a hangover. I had placed the clothes in the dryer but didn't close the door completly so it never turned on! This was at 7:00 pm, ate dinner, cleaned the apartment to the best of my ability, watched the Dallas Cowboys get CLOBBERED, and at half time I went to the dryer and the clothes were still wet! D'OH! Here I go again, start it up this time which meant I would be doing laundry VERY late in the evening so I decided to quit washing clothes since I still had my work clothes in the washer waiting for this load to dry (of all things, blue jeans!).
