A bit of a vent...

Well, as some of you know, we had to find another home for one of our dogs about a month ago. (We were having trouble with our dog and Ethan...) So, we ran an add, and a really nice lady and her 10 y/o son came by and adopted our dog. We told her that he doesn't to really well with other dogs and not very good with small kids. We were VERY upfront and honest about the situation and why we needed to find another home for him.
Well, a month later, we get a call from her (this past Friday) saying that things aren't working out and she wants to bring him back that night! What?! We were up north, so she couldn't bring him back....and the more I thought about it, the more I knew we couldn't take him back. (And how awful for the poor little dog to be with them for a month, and then back with us for a few days to be given to another family.....)
It just makes me mad! She told me tonight on the phone that her 3 y/o niece is living with them....had I know that, I would NOT have let her have him. Grrrr.....
On a happy note, I still had the phone number of another guy who sounded like a wonderful person.....no kids and no other dogs, and he is still interested in Murphy! YaY :) So, hopefully he will go sometime this week and meet Murphy and "fall in love" with him...
Just too bad for our doggie that he is going through this......Thanks for reading this far, if you have :)

Awww that is heartbreaking to hear hon :(
Too bad about that lady's neice .
Would have been nice had she said that part to you ::sigh::
On the bright side & yes that is how you need to see it.
Least you have someone else interested.
Will keep my fingers crossed the two fall in love with each other ..
While yes it will be an adjustment for Murphy ..
Finding him the right home is the goal
Please let us know how that goes :)

Aww. {{{Amber & Murphy}}}
How incedibly wise of you to have kept the other guy's number! Let us know how it turns out. Definitely keep on top of it. You can always facilitate the exchange yourself, if the woman gets weird or lazy about it.
