Job or Career?

I was thinking it might be interesting to see what everyone does, so what's your job or your career?  You don't have to give a lot of enough, nothing too personal, just curious as to what you do for work.  :-)

Right now I am only waitressing.  I've been laid off since May and looking for a new job as administrative assistant.  I've been on many an interview and promised some temp jobs that would go perm, but nothing solid so far.

I consider waitressing just a job, I hope to have a career someday, soon hopefully, admin assitant and work my way up from there sort of thing.

Wow, Suzan! We learn more interesting things about you all the time. :)

I'm a proofreader, which I've been for much of my adult life. It's a job, not a career. I'm not the career type--not ambitious. LOL. Just want to earn a living until I can retire.
