Since the New Year is creeping closer and closer I thought it might be nice to share "reflections of 2006."

Let's share: A happy, monumental, or special event in our lives in 2006

(of course share whatever you would like to share and as many things as you want too)

Of course, I am sure you all know what I am going to say!!

The best thing that happened last year is that our 2 daughters gave us 2 beautiful grandchildren! Our Matthew turned 1 year one this year. The three of them are the light of all of our lives.

Then, I had that icky Total Thyroidectomy surgery, 4 months ago, that I am still recovering from- urghh!

The highlight of 2006 was being w DD's as they gave birth & heard Cameron & Catherine take thier first breath & cry----Boy- I still get misty eyed over that!

FYI- I saw lil 3 lb Matthew being born & heard his first cry also ! sighhh!!

The highlight for me was when we drove from Washington state to washington DC for memorial day. This was the first time that bikers had rode on a north west rout.

Of course we were the chaser vehicle.

It took us 10 days to ride across county,we stayed at lots of hotels and camp grounds.

It was the most touching sight to see the wall in DC,i hope that we did our little bit to bring attention to all the men and woman who serve our country and to all our MIA and POW.

For me it was bringing home Ethan forever, and being able to meet Elliot and hold him for the first time... :)
