i'm looking for a shampoo for highlighted hair. my hairdresser said i can use any shampoo for colored hair. i already have herbal essence, the one in the pink bottle from the new line. but i'd like to get another brand as well because i like to switch between 2 shampoos. (thats what i was doing before having highlights, when i was using normal hair shampoo)
i don't know what other brand to get though. i'd rather have one that's for general color, not one specific colors - like hw they have the blonde or brunette lines. i just got caramel highlights done, but i also have red ones that i got done last month.
i tried that new vive for high lights shampoo but i really don't care for it. it makes my hair staticy. not fun.
anyone have any suggestions? also, i'd like it to be drugstore brands rather than salon.
thanks!

DD and I use Pantene Pro V sleek and smooth shampoo and conditioner...It doesnt say its specifically for colored hair but it is safe for color and permed hair...And it works gr8 for us...As much money as we spend on getting our hair colored I wouldnt use nething that isnt safe for colored hair...
And before Pantene changed the look of their bottle the sleek and smooth which is the green writing used to b for colored treated hair...So we just kept w it...

I have dark dyed hair, and I have used Dove before and I loved it. But now my hair is thinning so i use Body by Sebastian. It says on the bottle its good for colored hair. Just thought it would put in my two cents.
