Well not sure if the election will make a difference, but there is a chance I guess that if Obama gets elected that our guys might get to come home. Although during the debates he was in agreeance with McCain saying we need to be in Afghanistan and in Iran. So who really knows. I personally think we should bring all our boys home, because Afghanistan is worse than Iraq from what I saw on 60 mins.

I am glad to hear though that your Nephew will be coming home for the holidays though that is great news.

Very interesting.....you made your own knife...that must be a really challenging experience. I think getting it dressed is very smart, too!

Here in northern California where I live (about 30 miles south of San Francisco), also has an overpopulation of deer! This year they even got down to our neighborhood, about 2/3 miles from game preserve.), they walk right down the middle of the street----stopping here and there to dine on our green lawns and pretty shrubs and flowers! Our nephew owns an ice cream parlor downtown and said that the deer got down to our main street several times...the police and FD had lots of fun trying to head them back to the hills west of us! Anytime you want to check out hunting in our town you might want to check it out---they are friendly! lol

Are you a native of TN ?

Yep was born and raised in TN. LOL!! The furthest north I have ever been was the KY and Indiana border hehe. I have been to all the southern states but never north and the furthest west I have ever been was Texas. Now my wife is from CA. She lived in Long Polk and in Santa Marie I think it was. I would love to visit CA, but I don't know about living there. If I lived there I would want to live in Northern CA, because the pictures I have seen of it, it is beautiful.
