It's the weekend..What's up??

Doing anything today?
Lazing around?
Going shopping?
Watching a movie?
What's for dinner?
I'm heading to Walgreen's now to see if there's any Halloween stuff on sale that I have to buy for next year's Trunk or Treat.
Later John & I are going to walk the park and then go to WalMart to buy a spongie squeegee thingie to wash the windows and to look for Halloween stuff on sale there too. Ughhh..hate the thought of window washing, but it needs it very badly! Later we'll watch our latest Netflix movie. Pork chops for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow we just have Sunday school and church and out to dinner planned.
That's our day and weekend..how about you?

Morning Bree!!!
We live about 30 miles outside of Seattle in the sticks. ;-)
As for my husband traveling, he was traveling quite a bit at his last job. After he changed jobs in August, he will be traveling minimum of 50% of the time. I'm pretty used to it. He mentioned that he was trying to work his schedule so he could be home for Thanksgiving instead of being in China. Guess we'll see what happens, but if he isn't home, at least the kids will be. ;-)
Well, I prefer Granny Smiths for pies, but this year I got two boxes of Fuji since we were quite a bit late getting my apples. I prefer the sweet/tart variety and apples that aren't mushy (like Red/Golden Delicious, ick).
Next year I will go in early October even if it means I go by myself. Fall just isn't complete until I get my apples. ;-)
We always used the Golden Delicious Apples to make Applesauce .... and the others to make Apple Pies ....
Back in the day .... on the Farm .... where we had Apple Trees ....
Oh, no, you too with the shoulder/hands pains?!! This must be something contagious spreading throughout the Sandbox!! I hope it goes away and never comes back again!
