yes and that's JUST how I feel too. I went to the neurologist yesterday and the tingling is indeed early signs of carpal tunnel syndrome...&%$#@!!!!!
I have to wear a special brace which I pick up tonight - its apparently expensive (for MY budget) and my insurance likely won't cover it. They did all these tingly tests - was there at 9:50 a.m, didn't get into his office until almost 11 am and then and didn't get out until almost noon - waiting for other patients - they go in to the doc - come out and wait - go in for testing - come out and wait - go back into the doc - its a good job I decided to take my last day of vacation yesterday.
Then he told me I could get this special brace at the pharmacy in his building - but I wanted to get home. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon going to a total of 4 pharmacies - and Walmart - and none had anything that resembled what his prescription had ordered so now after work I have to go all the way back down to the original pharmacy and pick it up tonight.
...&%$#@!!!!!

Would save on running aroun ..
Take it easy hon :)
Ughhh..those loooooong days at a doc's office for testing and such are so exhausting! Especially so for those of us who have pain to cope with too.
So, you made it through the exam..finally..and the way I look at stuff is that you have a problem, but it can be helped..and..you don't have cancer! Awful how C enters our minds when something is wrong with our bodies and we're not sure what it is. Can't help those thoughts though, they just seem to pop into our minds sometimes uninvited. Anyway, you must
Oh Rusty that is to bad that you had to wait so long. As for the carbo tunnel I had it and I also had to wear a brace and that was a few years ago, and I have to say that I haven't worn the brace for many years and this carbo tunnel has not bothered me at all, thank goodness. There was the odd time about 2 years ago, that I was leaning on my elbow and I got that tingling in my hand but it went away. Hopefully the brace will do the same for you.
Take care and let me know how it is going. It really isn't that bad. Where do you have to wear your brace? Mine was on my elbow.
Have a good day sweetie. :)
((((((Rusty)))))) the good news is that you know what the problem is and can deal with it.....BUT I sure can understand &%$#@ What a day you had and I feel so bad that you went through all that and ended up with no brace....
Sure hope once you start wearing the brace it gives you the relief you need....Will you be wearing it
