I'll give you my good news first - I FINISHED MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.... yaaayyy for me.
I got a call from my son yesterday telling me my grandson had just gone through emergency surgery. My precious Caleb apparently was jumping around on somebody's trampoline, fell off and broke his arm in 3 places. He now has 3 pins in his arm. I feel so bad for him - I don't have a car and live too far away to take a bus but I just want to hold him and protect him. He'll be coming home from the hospital today so I'll be calling him later.
On a lighter side, throughout the years my oldest broke his leg, my middle boy broke his collar bone and my youngest (Caleb's daddy) had a hairline fracture in his leg - so I told my son Caleb was just following in their footsteps...lol the males of this family are clutzs - oh wait - wasn't that me last week when I jammed my elbow into a pole and hurt my shoulder??? The apple doesn't fall to far from this family tree lol

However yes that was smart thinking on his part when falling.
Wow very cool he thought that really.
Lucky it isn't his writing arm for sure ..

Healing will take time but still glad not more serious :)
