| Sat, 11-08-2008 - 11:02am |
You told us what your weekend plans were, now tell us what they are..........
What are you going to do when you get off the computer?
What do you need to do?
What are you not going to do that you should be doing?
Where do you wish you could morph yourself away to?
Any new news good or otherwise?
Wadda ya feel like talking about now?

We did, but didn't really find much for food stuffs. So we hit borders and she bought a bunch of DVDs, CDs, books, calendar, cookbook to fill the basket with. Someone gave her a bottle of Ouzo and olives and she added some bread and pita chips. One gal's husband is Greek and he has volunteered to cook dinner for 6 at their home.
Career Girl has a degree in Communications with the focus in advertising and a minor in art history. She's working as an assistant to the advertising executives at a local TV station.
Newspapers!! What a fun thread! We should have started this one in a new thread. Funny how everyone does something differently with newspapers. When I read the paper, I read sections in the order that they come..world news, local news, skip the sports..who needs that..lol..business news, entertainment, faith and values section, and then I read

Wow..What a huge bonus that will be!! Years ago I worked for a Greek lady and every year at Christmas, she and her DH entertained all of us nine employees and our spouses in their home. Their dinning room was huge with a long table that held all 20
Thank you Suzan, yes it is very scary. Their mother got the same thing at age 52, but did well after surgery and became cancer free.
Well, she was cancer free for ten years anyway
Those church dinners are so nice after church. Last week mine had a lasagna dinner and next Sunday they're having a chicken & noodle dinner. So convenient and delicious too! Nice you're able to work the dinners too. I'm no longer able to do that, but I do other volunteer things too though.
That's a lot of sports watching! You really are a "sportymom"..LOL!!
Sounds like a good plan for you to go with Jeremy to the new recruiter. Good for you..go and kick some butt!! Get those people doing what they're supposed to be doing!!
I'd forgotten that my last DH and I used to do that when our kids were living home. We'd take canned soup and add stuff, usually more noodles or more rice. Tasted good and went further to feed a family.
When I was a kid, my mother used to take Campbell's chicken noodle soup..not the canned kind, the kind that came in packets in a box and had to be reconstituted..and she's beat up eggs in a bowl and then pour that into the soup while it was cooking. Made it look more like Chinese egg drop soup and it tasted good too.
It wasn't a bad day, just an uneventful one. And as for not "talking" much, I go through spells where I just don't have much to say in the boards. I guess I'm in one of them now, lol.
