Hi Everybody!

Finally got here,,
have been replying to the weekend posts...  phew!
Now on to a great week!

What are you all up to?

As for me, today the cleaning lady is here making the place liveable again. LOL
On Wednesday, ds takes off for Germany and I'll have "the coffee cup "  here with me for a week! I won't be going anywhere after that!  LOL  Saturday we bring her for her shots,,, yes yet more shots. Poor thing.   I haven't seen her in 5 days and I'm having withdrawal symptoms.
Ds is back to work  although not totally healthy yet.

Hope you all have a great week,,,,  so what's up?

Well first Erin I want to tell you that I appreciate your help on my technical issues. I am now receiving email notifications when I get a message, so for that I thank you.

Now on to more pressing matters. The Twilight series of books are probably the best series of books that I have ever read. When I first started reading it I was like oh geez this is a chic book, but as I continued to read I became addicted. I love that series, the wife and I have already made arrangements for a babysitter for the 21st so we can watch the movie. I just really hope they don't screw the movie up and leave out alot of the details that make the book. I read the Eragon series and then when I saw the movie it was actually depressing the amount of detail they left out of the book and how they didn't follow the book closely at all. I mean for christs sake they could have at least opted to put some pointy ears on the elf chick lol.

Well just wanted to let you know I am a fan as well. If you like vampire books and such you should read a series called Dhampir it is pretty good as well. It is not the quality of the Twilight series but it is also pretty good.

What about the series appeals to you the most? I mean what just sucked you right in and made you addicted? Is it the fact that you like Vampires or was it the relationship between Edward and Bella? I am just curious is all.

You know I'm not really sure exactly.

I do like vampire stories, but it's not like I hunt them out.

What sucked me in was her absolutely dead-on portrayal of Young Intense LOVE .... and then the attraction of another with similar feelings ....

It is the perfect teenage angst book ... and it was my teenage son who turned me on to them .... and he was in love with a girl who had done him wrong ...

But the writing just sucked me in and made me remember alll the stuff I went through over the years with love and longing and pain and love

Well I believe you hit the nail on the head. I found the book sucked me in for most of those very same reasons. What really got me was Jacob was introduced into the book as a possible love interest as well and I just loved how that whole drama played out. By the end of the third book I hated Jacob and just wanted to see him get out of the picture lol.

It has been a long time since I have been that engrossed into a book. I just can not wait to see the movie. I absolutely loved the way she portrayed vampires in the book to. It was great that they could come out in the daylight and really had no weaknesses except for beheading and fire that was great. OK I am going on and on, but I can not help it I just really loved that series.

One question for you to. Is that a picture of you in your profile?? If so all I can say is wow!!! LOL!!
