Hopefully it doesn't get lost in your refrig too often
Although I can't imagine that happening to you
Otherwise yes a shame to toss good food out :)

I eat them in something or other over the next couple of days. Usually sandwiches the day after, then a casserole with whatever is left.

Very true Pat,
So does this mean you eat all LO's all the time ?
Thinking you do as otherwise a sad waste :)

That's great Ann,
Smart to use them in other foods as well.
I see you don't let anything go to waste ..
As we shouldn't :)

I voted other. . .

I purposely cook enough for leftovers for convenience. With hubby's and career girl's schedules and stuff I need to do, it is just easier to be able to heat up a quick dinner versus cooking.

Sometimes I send the leftovers home with the college boy when he comes to visit. I know he is not eating as well as he should (buying too much fast and furious junk) and he loves my cooking.

Other times I'll freeze it.

Then there are times we do toss because leftovers become science experiments as they get shoved into the back of the fridge by accident.

What I need to do is take a page from my MIL's book and box some of the stuff up and give it to a homeless person. Hubby said his mom used to do that a lot since she always made way too much for the family to eat.

I love left overs, it means I won't have to cook again and it's economical too. I share with my kids and then
