I voted OTHERS. Depending what it is that is leftover I do other things with it. For example, if it is chicken I will one day make chicken salad, If it is some kind of a roast I will make either sandwiches or I fry them up with fried eggs, etc. I try to do different things with the leftovers to make it a little more interesting.

Then again if I have the kids over for supper and there is leftovers I will pack up doggie bags for them. That even makes me happier.

When you think about all the people that are hungry in this world and people throw out leftovers when there are so many things you can do with it, I agree with you hugs, what a waste and very sad indeed.

What a generous idea, to pack up some left overs to give to the homeless and hungry person. WTG mother-in-law.

I also some time freeze if I had made to much and it is only my hubby and myself. We work Sundays and Mondays so that I have some meals in the freezer makes it a little easier when we get home from work.

Tossing food in the back of the fridg, forgetting it and letting it get to mold, has happen to me ,though it hasn't happened to often. Then for sure it is thrown out. YUCKY!!!!! ha ha ha ha

I find that sometimes when I cook, then freeze it, it seems to taste better after it has been frozen and of course thawed out and warmed up. LOL!!!!

Thanks. It reminds me of my dearly departed cat, Jasmine. If she has wings in kitty heaven, this is what she'd probably choose.

That's great you do it that way Deb,
Makes for much easier for you & that's always good
Oh yes the poor starving college studdents .. hear that loud & clear
That is a wonderful idea to give it away to someone in need.
Moreso during the colder time of year :)
