I bought the first season. Caught an episode by accident due the cable not quite scrambling that channel and my interest was piqued. I agree with you regarding Betts, but then again, I think she was career woman at heart, but as most women at that time, they attended college just to snag a man. Guess that's why I enjoyed watching Mona Lisa Smile. . .Julia Roberts shook up the women who were pushed to conform to that mold of going to college, get a man and get married. Women like that were threatening to society on the whole, because they thought outside of the box.

Plan on buying Season Two as soon as it is released. ;-)

We don't know why her hair/coat is thinning Suzan,
It is so sad though :(
Yes I am going to change her/all their food to something like you feel Coffee as well.
Changing food is a PITA since it needs to be done so gradually ::sigh::
What is the brand you are using ?
Thinking of ordering something online ..
Her allergies/itchies are about the same

Something you might consider for Holly is a coat with a slippery lining. Shelby has a coat that is light peach velour with a white faux fur

Weighing in on the calculator question. I am now of the opinion that they should let second graders use the dumb things. The way they are teaching math now is sooooooo hard. My husband cannot help our second grader with her math it is so bad. Let me give you some examples. What do the equations 6 + 6 and 6 + 8 have in common? 6+6 is doubles and 6+8 is doubles plus 2! They are teaching them to memorize and look for doubles equations and adding on or taking away from that. Here is another one. To figure 8+4 you figure 8+?=10. Answer is 2 so now you subtract the 2 from the 4 making your equation 10+2. Doesn't it seem so much easier to just know 8+4 is 12???? Heck, count on your fingers even! LOL I can't wait to see how they teach multiplication and division!

Talking about doggy allergies/itchies, have you tried adding a tbl of safflower or olive oil to the food? I have to for my beagle because of dry itchy skin. Only I am cheap and use canola oil. If canola is good enough for my family, it is good enough for the dog! LOL We also give Little Guy a teaspoon of yogurt each day to keep the "doggy" smell away. That smell is often due to yeast in the ears and between the toes. The yogurt keeps that in check. We also add a tbl of apple cider vinegar to his water in the high flea months because it repels the buggers.
