my ds called long distance yesterday around 2 pm,,, he was on his way to the vet with the puppy.   He's all excited and upset as the puppy's tooth was loose and kinda just hanging there... so he's like don't worry I'll let you know as soon as I get there, no mom she didn't bump into anything,,,no mom I wasn't rough housing her,,,beeep beeep beeepppp   could tell he was speeding through the traffic.  So I'm sitting here all worried,  of course I'm here and she's  there, and I can be NO help at all in this crisis so feel guilty .....   my nails are bitten down to the quick I'm on the verge of tears, dh is pacing back and forth...  basket cases....geez.      AFter about 2 hours ds calls back and is very chipper,,, so I asked what's up with our baby?????  He laughed and said,,, well I'll have to put a dog bisket under her pillow tonight as she lost a baby tooth.  Well it didn't dawn on me   that puppies lose their baby teeth... I thought the teeth just grew bigger and harder. DUH??  Oh stop laughing everyone,, it happens...

LOL! How cute. ;-) BTW, don't feel bad. . .I remember being about 6 and I was playing with our cocker spaniel puppy, tug-a-war with a toy. Well, I pulled back and the toy came out with a tooth. I got so upset because I thought I hurt our puppy. My father assured me that it was just a milk tooth and they fall out anyway. Geez, I seriously thought I was dead for breaking the dog, LOL!

I'm not laughing. I did know that puppies - and kittens - lose their baby teeth, but it isn't something that you usually see happen (where do they go? Do they swallow them?).

Oh Suzan, you are soooooo cute and precious, I am not laughing at you at all, I think it is so cute that you would worry so much for a dog's tooth being loose. As for not knowing that puppy's baby teeth fall out and grow others. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only kidding sweetie, lets face it we all don't know everything and no matter how old we are, we are always learning.

You are really sweet :) ((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))
