For my dd's birthday we have lunch/dinner with cake....we have always kept my dd's birthday separate from Christmas.....
We usually go to my sister's for cake and coffee

One nephew lives in KY..the other in FL.....so it's just cards for them....

We also make a big point of celebrating dd birthday separate from Christimas. I think kids born around Christmas tend to get gyped. Every other kid has 2 special times of the year to look forward to for celebration and presents. The kids so close to Christmas really only get one. I haven't completely decided what to do for DD this year but you can be sure about this, it will be a Hanna Montana theme! LOL

I've seen so many Hannah Montana things....sure makes gift buying so much easier when you have a "theme":-)

My dd will be 40 (OMG!!!!)...I think I'm going to give her a gift card for Massage Envy...it's something I would like, anyway.....

I forgot an event. My dd's company Christmas party is the 12th. That should be sort of fun. (I'm gonna wear my boots!)
