I don't remember actually regifting anything I've ever got. But I do know there were a few things that I donated to a good cause.

The only regifting I do is white elephant gifts for parties. All my white elephant gifts are nice though, not the goofy kind. I put a lot of thought into gift giving and I would not feel right giving something to

This might sound crazy...but it never has crossed my mind! I know of friends that have done this, their stories are hysterical....one of them said she felt so guilty she ended up not giving the re-gift and spent twice as much on another gift! lol

I have & would/will do it again ::blush::
Better for someone else to get use of something then to let it sit :)

I said yes and I admit I am horrible. LOL Every year the inlaws give me tons of bath stuff I will never in a million years use. Not my thing. I used to keep it but it just kept piling up. So then my family got larger on my side. Larger with some folks I admit I just don't like. So, I know this sounds mean, I regift most of that stuff to her. She likes it. I hate spending money on her because I don't like her at all but have to give her something. So that is my solution. She gets something she likes, the gifts the inlaws give go to good use, one less person to spend on with all the folks on my list plus birthdays. In DHs family you buy for each brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, niece, nephew, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. In my family we do all the kids plus our siblings. Add to it all the birthdays I listed in roll call, because of course there is a party for each, and it is overwhelming. I know I am horrible, but I don't feel bad.

ROFLOL...I think it's a great idea to regift to that "special" someone you don't really like.....

You are not "horrible" and I'm glad you don't feel bad....you shouldn't:-)
