Hi Pat.....It is fun to play in the snow...I love making "snow angels".....not sure about living in snow country...lol Think we need to get some Rain Dancers to give us a helping hand....just about anything that will give some water...haahaa I sooo agree the cold temps and ice are difficult, long winters are even worse. A few years ago we had a long gray winter and I experienced my first bout of saad---don't want that again! Friends living in Alaska, had often mentioned their constant battle against saad, even a few friends in Washington state explained why they used their vacation time in winter heading to Hawaii, usually!

Think Sunny thoughts ! lol

I'm like that with cold temps too, they make my chronic pain worse. Why do we do that? Why don't we pack up and move to a warmer climate? For me it's my immediate family as they are the center of my life. I can always make new friends, but family are everything to me and I don't want to leave them. If I hit the lottery, I'd move my loved ones and my DH & myself to a place warmer. So why do you live where it's cold? Is it job related? My DH and I are retired, so it's just family for us. I have some couple friends..three couples..who all live south for the winter and then move back here. Wish I had that kind of money!
