I lost my internet connection last night and just got back on....I was up at 4:30 this morning trying to get here....I know how you all wait with great anticipation for my thoughtful questions, so I won't keep you waiting any longer....LOL
1. Is your Christmas card list growing or shrinking?
2. Have you ever gone Christmas caroling?
3. Does it bother you to see the abbreviation "xmas" in place of the word Christmas?
4. Have you ever been kissed under the mistletoe?
5. Would you rather be visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present or Future?

1. Is your Christmas card list growing or shrinking? Well to be honest I am never considerate enough to send out Christmas cards lol.
2. Have you ever gone Christmas caroling? Actually I have gone Christmas caroling a few times back when I was in school because I was in the choir.
3. Does it bother you to see the abbreviation "xmas" in place of the word Christmas? The abbreviation does not bother me at all because I am lazy and like to take shortcuts, but what does bother me is the fact that people call it xmas because of the fact they want to take Christ out of the picture because of all the whiney bleeding heart people that don't believe religion should play a part in anything.
4. Have you ever been kissed under the mistletoe? Yes several times along with other things under the mistletoe ROFL!!!!
5. Would you rather be visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present or Future? I would want a visit from the ghost of Christmas Future.
Hi Von....I'm not sure I'd want to know my future especially at my age...LOL
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions ~~
2. Have you ever gone Christmas caroling? - I have, but not for years and years. I really didn't see a lot of point to it, lol.
Ann, I guess the only point to it is freezing your butt off ....LOL
I went with a church group once and we all rode in the back of a pickup...it was so darn cold!! Never did that again:-)
4-Sure have been kissed under the mistletoe!
OK Bree, come clean....tell us all about it.....LOL
My Christmas card list is shrinking by leaps and bounds...It might be non-exsistent soon....kinda sad, huh? I miss the days of receiving and sending lots of cards....
I didn't mind the caroling at the nursing home but outside at night was just too cold....
Really liked reading your response to the "XMAS" question.....I always wondered about its use...
Funny about avoiding the mistletoe.....LOL
Geez Rusty I had no idea we were thinking of the same questions.....must put our heads together next time....LOL
Thanks for answering the "Ghost" question...I understand....LOL
3. Does it bother you to see the abbreviation "xmas" in place of the word Christmas? Not really ...i do hate that some people are affaid to use meryy Christmas and say seasons greatings now!
Glenda, I had thought of asking a question about some people not
Teri....thanks for answering the questions....I really enjoy reading everyone's responses....
My card list is shrinking, too...kinda sad in a way~~
Suzan, my card list is shrinking, too....but I do miss receiving lots of Christmas cards...it was always so much fun to see the mailman during Dec....
I agree with you on the "xmas"....I undertand why you use it here and that doesn't bother me....but I wouldn't want to see it on cards..
I've often thought I'd like to go back to the past...I know you can't change it but maybe it would help clear up a few things that have bothered me over the years...
In many stores, employees are ordered to not say "Merry Christmas" and to say "Happy Holidays" instead. It's one of those dumb arse politically correct things where they don't want to offend their non Christian customers. I like how in my Walmart last year, the employees stood their ground and said "Merry Christmas". They couldn't fire all of them!! I always thanked them for saying it too!
In my reply, I said Xmas "somewhat" bothers me. I should have been more bold and said what I really felt in that
