Just passed the 2nd advent.  We celebrated that by going with a friend to the Christmas Brunch, it was nice,,, ate too much... very festive.  Today am doing the last minute things, throwing odds adn ends into the suitcases and carry ons, weighing them again and again,,,  getting nervous slightly,, made the trip 100 times but still get antsy beforehand.   Tuesday evening is the flight.      So what are you all up to this week?

Suzan I just love Christmas brunches - they are always festive and fun.

Just curious - do you have a full wardrobe at each of your places or do you simply haul stuff back and forth?

Well i did my cards for mffl last night and now if i only get around to mailing them LOL!

Friday grant was off and that night aj showed up for a very short visit.

Saturday evening Aj showed up and spent the night. That boy is all over the board..lOL The brain injury has him not really thinking things out. He has been like this since the accident. Kinda like a young kid that see's a ball across the street...he runs for it . No thought, no looking. Well a bit better than that...but you get it.Nice to see him. I sent him home with food again and clothes Thomas grew out of. He was so happy!

We had trewe trouble here . The basin under the tree sprung a leak and warped the hardwood floor. We could not get a decent tree stand so ended up putting the tree in a coffee can inside the stand....it worked!
No if we can keep the cat from pulling down the bulbs and lights. Yesterday he wrapped his arm around the elfs ladder against the tree and ran. Pulled it straight down. The cat is not stupid...but i think adhd!

So Grant is home today. Today is pay day and tomorrow will be shopping in the city, i am sure!

Well the kitty is crying and making me nuts again...later!!

Well lets see I worked saturday and Sunday. However I did manage to get my certified payrolls caught up, and I managed to write a 10 page research paper and I also kept some of you ladies entertained on the boards so it was a good weekend at work lol.

Suzan, I will keep you in my prayers as you begin your travel. I hate flying. Nothing bad ever happens but it still makes me crazy.

Rusty, I don't envy you the cold. We are sitting between 20 and 35 mostly here and that is too cold for me!

Lucky you to have the holiday meal shopped for! I still have to do this. However, I only have to buy food for breakfast. Each year I make biscuits and gravy for Christmas morning breakfast. The Christmas dinner is at my dads, always. I will have to do the cooking this year but my folks will do the shopping. I avoid going into stores as much as possible in Dec. I don't do crowds well. I am not a good customer. I give great customer service but am a lousy, grouchy customer. LOL

Bree, I too still have a couple gifts to buy. I have 2 teenage boys left on my list. So much fun to shop for---not! LOL I have a couple of other things to pick up but they are already decided. A Lowes gift certificate for my good brother and jewelry for my mom. I won a $50 gc at a benefit dinner and will use that to buy my mom something nice. I don't wear jewelry, it isn't practical in my life. When it is practical, I have all that I inherited from my biomom plus all the nice stuff my folks got me as a teen. I need to wrap all of dd birthday stuff today, not a task I look forward too. I can't wait until the holiday is here already! The prep work is exhausting. LOL

Moving is no fun, especially in the winter. Good luck getting all the details tied down this week so you can be on your way.
