Just passed the 2nd advent.  We celebrated that by going with a friend to the Christmas Brunch, it was nice,,, ate too much... very festive.  Today am doing the last minute things, throwing odds adn ends into the suitcases and carry ons, weighing them again and again,,,  getting nervous slightly,, made the trip 100 times but still get antsy beforehand.   Tuesday evening is the flight.      So what are you all up to this week?

It is monday, finally. I have been waiting for this day all weekend! LOL I may sound crazy with that but today is my day off. I was off yesterday too but it was psycho crazy busy, not at all what I have anticipated. Today is mine. DD is at school, DH is in bed for the day (he works midnights) and baby is sleeping. I already went to Walmart to buy dinner for the next 3 days. I have class Tue, Wed, and Thur for my job. It will be 3 long days of 8 am to 5 pm, which means I will leave my home at 7:15 and arrive home at nearly 6. Long days. DH has limited cooking ability so I am doing crockpot foods this week. Tomorrow will be chili, Wed will be pork roast and Thur will be spaghetti or ravioli. Chili is already working in there since I am using dried beans this time instead of canned.

Today I have only laundry to finish washing and folding, DH will put it away when he wakes up and birthday presents to wrap for DD birthday. We are going to decorate the Christmas tree tonight and my holiday decorating will be done!

Tomorrow I only have class, Wed I do not have to teach since the little guys will be rehearsing the Christmas program, Thurs I only have class. Friday will be my first day back to work and it is a short day, only until noon. I also have my first ultra sound that day. It is going to be a good week.

The weekend was taken up by decorating and putting the tv in place. We watched the Packer game on Sunday and it looked very nice on the big, bright screen. Too bad it wasn't a better game, LOL!

Today I am doing laundry and later, because I can't say "no", I have a dentist appt. I also want to mail my Christmas cards while I'm out.

This week I need to clean up the spare room, wrap gifts (that'll help clean up the spare room), and figure out some meals for the week. And get stuff to make the meals I decided on.

I think that's it for my week.

I love Christmas Brunches, and any other brunch too, but holiday ones are extra special. Glad you got to go, glad it was nice, sorry you ate too much; but that's just how it always seem to go for me too. Good thing we don't go to these things more often!
