Well.... maybe two kinds of goodies ....

. . . will be enough.

I don't like the "sugar plums" I made very much. They're a concoction of figs, cocoa, cinnamon, almonds, honey and orange zest, which are formed into balls and then rolled in sugar that I thought I'd try.

.... they're very sticky, very soft, and not all that good tasting. I'm not even sure I'll take them to dd's. Maybe I should have started over with more cocoa, or cinnamon, or less honey....  Maybe they'll mellow in flavor - and firm up - over the next few days... Maybe no one will eat them and they'll get tossed out in a week (the most likely scenario, lol).

That's what I get for not sticking with the tried and true goodies.

Okay, I'll take them, but I won't be surprised if no one likes them. Colleen won't eat them because they have cocoa in them (can you believe she doesn't like chocolate??), but maybe the others will eat one - to be polite.

And, yes, I have a couple dozen each of buckeye balls and ginger cookies to take. I know everyone likes those.

I've changed my mind, again. I'm not taking them. After the flavors blended a bit, I thought they tasted worse, lol, and when dh tried one, he said he didn't like them either and I shouldn't take them. This is from a guy who will eat just about anything, lol.

So, since
