Suzan...glad that you are feeling better ! Wow... on the major snow storm...yes, very out of the ordinary for your neck of the woods !

I have a major whine ...(as usual) .....I have been calling & e-mailing DD (who is hosting Xmas dinner) all week...asking her what she wants me to make for dinner.....as I did'nt want to be at the grocery store on Christmas eve day !!!!!!

Whines:
It's snowing. Again.
The ginger cookies I made aren't as soft as they should be. (It's been a bad season for goodies, lol.)

Woo hoos:
It's Christmas Eve
I'm going to my dd's tomorrow
The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow (no snow)
It's going to be 40 degrees Friday and Saturday!

I'll just forgo the whine as things weather-wise are settling down and warm temps are on the way.

WooHoo: Career Girl got a lovely Christmas gift from her AEs. . .$200 cash and a new job title. Same job, just renamed, LOL!

Hubby will be driving up to Seattle to pick her up after work today and then swing by to get her brother and bring them home.

I'm just about finished with my cleaning and cooking.

Stay warm, Suzan.

Have you tried putting them in an airtight container and putting in a 1/2 slice of bread,, they should soften right up,,, no bread? Use a piece of orange rind... piece of apple...

Great on the weather forecast! Have fun on the 25th...

Whine...I forgot to get stuff to make pumpkin pie for us tomorrow. I think I'll get it at Target for it's faster getting out of there than the grocery store. I am dreading going to a store today!!

I have to pack my suitcase. I hate packing!

I'm tired and my normally impatient self is more impatient these days. Poor John.

WooHoo...It didn't snow last night..TG!! The thin layer of ice is melting! Yes!

Tonight we'll go to John's DD's house for Christmas Eve with all of his immediate family there along with his first wife and an old family friend. Afterwards he and I will go to 11pm church service at his church. To his DD's house, we're bringing an appetizer tray of hot artichoke dip with Italian toast from our favorite Italian restaurant along with some wines. We're having snack type of foods instead of dinner.

Tomorrow we'll be home alone for Christmas Day and that's okay for I am looking forward to doing nothing..nothing at all..except fixing a simple
