Wondering where i was??

Well i have been sick again. Saw the dr yesterday and he told me to take things easy. I have lost so much blood again i am very weak. I had to get grant to plug in a cord for me today. It was a hard plug, but still...annoying.
The dr said my body is workingh 10x harder with the bleeding, my galbladder, and asthma. Not good at all. Grant had the day off and drove me. The dr is 45 highway minites away..i was too weak.
He also said that a patient told him she was visiting a friend in the general hospital (here i get surgery), and she toldmy doc that there were 18 ambulances waiting at emergentcy. I find that hard to believe...but he saidthiswas a very truthful woman that told him.He said with the economy everyone is running to saskatchewan(my provience), and manitoba to live and work in the oilfield. The other spin off business's that the economy has fueled can't get workers anymore. No housing. The dr said all thr people waiting surgery and moved to sask. are fueling the problem. He told me to call the dr's monday and express how bad i am. I may have to get appts to prove how weak i am...but he will send an update onm my condition if he needs to.
So that is my health...ps: bonus i have a heal spir on my left heal.

Now christmas was quiet. Just us and aj and thomas. We shopped on the 23rd in estevan, and grant came with me.Then aj got work that he had christmas eve off, so we had to wait for him and take his car to the people that are buying it.Yes his only vieacle he had.He again sold a vehicle before he had another. We got home late and missed the office party. Good i couldn't have sat through that anyway.

Janelle never called or showed. I had her and the grandkids gifts dropped at grants moms. Janelle wa there on the 26th.His mom has to have that day...so we never get to see janelle on christmas or boxing day because of it.We stayed at home all christmas...except to take aj home on the 26th.

Arliss talked to aj on the puter christmas eve. Hew was sad he could not make it home.

Christmas eve aj crashed the puter. N oidea how...but it shut itself off and we could not get it to come on again.so we unplugged it all. Christmas day it started up(our christmas miracle LMBO!!)I spent 2 days cleaning it out. Then checking email amd on facebook from time to time. Too weak to stay on here long.

The good news is i am without aunt flow for the first time in 5 weeks. Cross your fingers guys!! i need a break!

strill have decorations to take down...but not today. i took the village down before the cat killed it, sad but true!

Delisio pizza tonight. I hope the galbladder can take it. almost constant attacks now. I drink milk for my tummy...with the meds hurting it, but milk sets off the galblader. darned is i do darned if i don't.I have meds for the tummy and milk is the only thing that helps. The back pain from my galbladder is awful too.

So that is where i have been. Depressed and not healthy. Partly why i haven't posted. didn't want to kill the christmas spirit!

Hope you all have been well!

Listen to your body. . .it is telling you to be good to yourself and stop worrying about everybody else for a change.

Rest up and I hope you're feeling better soon, hon.

Hi Glenda,

So sorry to hear that you are not well again. Why aren't they removing your gall bladder? I have gall stones, and no doctor will remove them unless they are bothering me. Thank goodness they don't and I never even knew that I had gall stones until they took an ultra sound of my liver and that whole area. The technision asked me if I knew I had gall stones and I told him no, and he also told me that they don't remove them unless I get an attack. They should of removed your gall bladder awhile ago. I even made an appointment with my surgeon to see what she would say and she told me the same thing as long as my gall bladder is not bothering me they will not remove it, but...the minute it begins to bother me I have to call her and she will make arrangements for me to go into the hospital right away to remove it.

How sad that the kids are not visiting. Please Glenda do not stress yourself out as this is not a good way to get well. I know it is easier said than done, but you will have to try. Please let me know what happens and take care. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Miss you here Glenda so hurry up and get well so we can play in the sand box together.

Sending you a (((((((((((((((((((((((((((huge hug))))))))))))))))))))))

Morning Beverley

Are you in your own place yet?? I am so out of touch.

My aunt flo actually left for a few days. I hope it is gone long enough for me to gain my strenghth back. I have so much to do. We are working on thomas' room now and he is looking forward to getting into it. Then the hall and then new bathroom. so much to do then it will be time to rv again YA!!

I keep watching for that trailer you wanted with the deck ...such a cool idea. do you remember what company made it?? i would love to do an article on the different types of campers/rv's and other things to camp in on the camping and outdoor activities board.

Morning Miriam!

Here in Canada we have free medicare for surgeries like the ones i need. We just don't have the drs and nurses. we do train many every year...but they move to warmer climates and better pay. The government is hoping with our insentives here now more will deside to work and live here.Cross your fingers!!

as fr the gulbladder...they say there are no stones, but instead i have a gul bladder that only operates at 50% of what it should. It only closes part way.The dr said for some people the surgery fixes them right up...but for others not. I hope to be in the good surgery ones!

As for the kids...i think it was harder this year being sick and losing my dad. Next yearit will be different. I think we will go away for most of christmas. Just be here to celebrater with aj and thomas. We may also go to kelowna to see arliss too.

Hopefully i will be around more soon!

Morning Pat

I have been thinking about you and your move. How is it!! i hope you settle in and meet the man of your dreams. You soooo deserve to be happy!

We have such a dr shortage here. The last government closed hospital beds to save money. The new government is trying to get more dr's and nurses. The are opening beds but without the staff it is not good.

I think we are going to work on getiing arliss home or to meet him somewhere!

Good afternoon Glenda,

Where in Canada do you live? I also live in Canada in the province of Quebec. I agree there is a fight to get doctors to remain here and the ones that are here their practices are completely closed unless you already have a family doctor who can refer you to a surgeron.

Lucky I have a family doctor so should I need a specialist he refers me to one if I don't have one already.

Sounds like a good idea for next Christams. I quess it was difficult with you being ill and the loss of your dad. Doesn't make it easy hu? Hopefully the year 2009 will bring you lots of good health, happiness, peace , loads of blessings and all your hopes and dreams come true.
