Just wondering what you all are reading this year?  Love to say that...

I finally finished the one I was reading and started a new book by Julie Garwood: Heartbreaker...  that should be good..  liked the first few pages and that is a plus...   ;O)

Does anyone ever read the classics?  I'm planning to read a few this year...  Silas Marner is the first on my list and in my nightstand drawer TBR.

I just looked up Heart of Fire on Amazon and it looks like a really good one! Thanks for the tip!

The Queen Noor book does sound like an interesting one as she is certainly a woman to be admired.

I'm in a very interesting place in Three Cups of Tea now that tells of the beginning days of the Taliban and beginning of Osama Bin Laden's reign of terror along with other tribes along Afghanistan and Pakistan. So sad that the non-violent people have to live with this every day. I can't even imagine what that must be like. Greg Mortenson has gone through very frightening experiences in these impoverished lands

Hi Teri,,, I have only read O Pioneers and My Antonia, not realizing it was a trilogy... I'm planning to order the 2nd book Song of the Lark soon and read it too.

I don't know if she was on B & B (don't watch it), but she's back on Y & R now.

Okay, thanks. I ordered My Antonia from PBS, but I think I'll get the first two from the library and read those before Antonia. I do like to read series in order, if I can.
