Whoo! I'm glad it's not a big bathroom!

Let me start by saying, the cat's sand is in our only bathroom. Which makes cleaning the floor a whole lot more work than it should be. Here's what I did....
Pick up (and shake out) rugs - throw down the chute to be washed.
Move everything out or up off the floor.
Vacuum
Swiffer the dust and grit the vac didn't get.
Wash floor (Method Lemon-Ginger cleaner, nice!) ...see floor dry cloudy (sigh)
Spritz Swiffer cloth with cleaner and try to buff up cloudiness
Change mop pad & wash main area again, trying for a bit of shine.
Put cat pan down, just in case Millie needs it - step in wet spot you missed with the mop.
Leave the other stuff out and up till floor is all dry.
So now I'm here, back aching, exhausted and with a wet (but clean and Lemon-Ginger scented!) sock. As soon as my back eases up, I'll put the bathroom back in order, continue the laundry and go into town to do some errands.
How's your day going?

Well, my day didn't start out as sucky as your's!! LOL!! I hate when floor cleaners leave a film! I have found nothing but plain water to clean my wood laminate kitchen floor. Everything else leaves a film. I don't remember house cleaning being such a huge exhausting job when I was younger and full of energy. Now, it kills us to just do one room together!
Sounds like you might need a nap before running those errands! Oh, and Ann, you might consider changing that sock too! LOL!!
I think you need chocolate!
Mmm, thanks for the chocolate! I needed that! Well, I got the errands done, and now just need to dust and vacuum around here - and put the sheets back on the bed when they're dry, and I'll be done for the day. Then I just might take that nap!
And the floor wouldn't stay so streaky if I didn't have the sand in there. It just doesn't wash off the floor completely

Well Ann, just about the same as yours,, coffee just left and so I got down on my hands and knees (yes those old knees ) and washed the floor, in the kitchen and entryway... about 300 sq feet worth of it as my floor also gets cloudy and the only way to reallly get it to shine is the old awful way with a cloth.
Ann...sounds like too much work....
I miss my 3 cats but I don't miss having to clean the litter box...Have you thought about getting one of those litter boxes that have a cover on them? I don't why I never bought one.
Lemon -
the cleaner is one from a company called Method. They are very earth friendly and their cleaners have the best scents! Their mops work like the Swiffer ones, but they use microfiber cleaning pads that wash and dry,

It is work, but I don't do the whole routine every week. I give it a good sweeping or vacuuming once or twice a week,

WOW!!! Ann , just reading this post tired me out LOL!!! That is some work out sweetie. Hope that Millie appreciates all the work you do in that bathroom to keep in clean and smelling nice. ha ha haha
You've been a busy bee. ;-)
Today? I've been busy.
Career Girl is home today (she took a four day weekend), so we went out to run errands and pick up necessary stuff.
Stopped at Target and bought a bunch of clothes (sleepers, bibs, outfits, onesies, etc.) for my BIL's oldest daughter. Career Girl just informed me that she may be having her baby any day now per what she put down on Facebook. Good thing Career Girl is sharp enough to let me know because hubby was told by his brother at the beginning of December and he didn't bother to tell me until last week. At the rate that family communicates, we probably would have never known the little guy existed until graduation from high school.
