lots of things to answer and ponder,,  but where or where is everyone????  LOL

Dh and I went out for the afternoon today, went over to visit with MIL/FIL who just got back from their short 4 day trip.   We only stayed about 2 hours,, (well it's enough LOL) but we had a nice visit.  Sunday dh and I are planning to go on a shopping trip, get a few things maybe,,  hopefully I'll have time for a minicure.

Coffee update:

First thank you all for putting up with my nervousness,,, anyway,  the Vet kept her on the infusion all day today too and by the end of the day she was ready to come home.  Ds picked her up around 6 pm and brought her home and of course forgot all about calling to tell me how she is (hmph the nerve of him to forget me!!!! grrr). Dh called him and he said she was pretty much back to herself, has to be on the antibiotics for the next few days and be careful of eating not too much.  She's not completely well  and romping around but does think the water dish looks well enough to stick her tongue into...  so that's a good sign.         phewwwwwwwwwwww.   Have to say that even though I had been looking forward to taking a "coffee break" that's not exactly what I had in mind.   I'm so relieved and can't wait to see her on Monday.

So now  I'm going to go watch Ugly Betty and whatever else comes on and watch that until I fall asleep in the chair.  So yooooo hoooooooo   what's everyone up to?

Well, it's almost midnight your time, so I assume you're sleeping by now..either in your chair or in bed..LOL!! Glad you got to get out for awhile. So, I assume that means your fever broke? I like your plans for tomorrow too. Sure wish I could get out and do something, anything at all!! I'm going to have to miss church again tomorrow.

All of the boards seem to be a bit on the quiet side today.

Hi Hilary! You missed Suzan's fever because she mentioned it on the Joyful Home board I think in a reply to me.

I'm staying quiet, have no choice! John and I just had an interesting conversation and the mere act of talking wore me out! Tired of this!

Nice having that type of cable connection. We don't have that, but do have cable. We also have Netflix though, so get a new movie every 4 or 5 days. Our newest is "Million Dollar Baby"........

This multiple Oscar winner follows a determined young athlete who, through her sheer determination, awakens a long-lost fire within two aging boxers. Despondent over a painful estrangement from his daughter, trainer Frankie Dunn (Clint Eastwood) isn't prepared for boxer Maggie Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank) to enter his life. Maggie's determined to go pro, and she eventually convinces Dunn and his cohort (Morgan Freeman) to help her get to the top.

Thanks..you take care too..and stay well!!

Ok Suzan sweetie, what happened to my Coffee? I am sorry but I haven't been here in the past three days and had no idea that Coffee was back at the vet. If you do not mind could you fill me in?

Ok now I will tell you what I have been up to. Wed morning my husband drove my daughter and Destiny and myself to the bus terminas because we decided that we were going to visit with my granddaughter and great grandson, my daughter's daughter and her grandson in St Foy Quebec which is an hour and a half bus drive from here to there. The drive down was not to bad, and Jessie and Tyler met us there at the bus terminas, as this is our first visit to St Foy. We then went to the mall, which is humongous , has 4 floors and it is extremely big and beautiful, we browsed around , had lunch together and had a blast until.......ok are you sitting down? There is only 1 bus that goes back to Drummondville and that was at 5:40 pm. My daughter finished breast feeding Destiny at 4:30 pm and I suggested that we go downstairs , give back the strollers and get our clothes, call a cab and head back to the bus terminas where we can sit down in the resturant there, have a drink and relax until the bus arrives. Well, Suzan, my granddaughter said "what are you in a rush for, the terminas is only 10 minutes away you have time?" I said that I didn't like to go for the last minute, so at 5:00 she called a taxi, now it is 5:15, and no taxi in sight. She called again about 3 times, and now it is 5:30, and the bus leaves in 10 minutes. I am now having a nervous break down. I stop this women and her husband who was carrying a child and asked if they were going any where near the terminas and I would give her $10.00 to take us there. She then said she had a very small car and had the little girls car seat there and there just wouldn't be any room.

Now my granddaughter calls back and she is very angry and says this is an emergency and explains that we are here with a small baby and we have to get on that bus at 5:40. PS the taxi arrives at 5:38 to be exact. He gets us there in less than 5 minutes and there is 3 buses and I left my duaghter in the cab, and I was running with Destiny from one bus to another to see which one it was that was going to Drummondville. After getting to the third bus he said that we would have to go to gate 6 and he was running late. Thank God, he came at 5:50. Once we got on that bus, we laughed from tiredness and nervousness and my daughter said , you should only of seen what you looked like, I looked like a mad women running from one bus to another with the baby in my arms. We laughed all the way home and poor Destiny was cranky for that hour and a half. That was all on Wed.

Thursday and Friday were two days of my husband and I running around doing lots of errands , looking at new homes with an agent and today, Sat I had to do all my cleaning and catching up on all my laundry.

Are you sorry that you ask what we were up to? LOL!!!!!

Please let me know how Coffee is, and hope she is feeling back to her self again shortly. Hugs and kisses to you and Coffee :)

Hey sounds nice and good to hear that Coffee is doing much better.

I got a new siggy made, but I need get it linked to my board, but for now...

Today I haven't done much. My sister is staying with us since she's recovering from surgery she had on Thursday, and she's been just laying around not doing much herself. Last night we watched The Devil Wears Prada and that was fun. This evening I went through my nightstand drawer and threw some stuff away and originized it and then I watched some ice skating on TV and now I'm waiting for Saturday Night Live to come on at 10:30pm. I'm looking forward to watching the Super Bowl Feb 1st!!! Only for the half time show and the commercials too of course. I've sstopped watching CSI and I'm now watching 30 Rock.
