Hi everyone,,,,  it's a  nice warm clear day today, a bit on the windy side.. a few clouds, but in the distance.

Please send some PT&P to Bunny for her dd who is in the hospital.. hoping she checks in real early to keep us   posted.  http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-ivsandbox&msg=7028.9&ctx=0

Miss Coffee is here with me today.  She is much better and back to her "bitey" self, but I can tell she is not 100% , sleeping alot, fry nose, drinking wayyy too much and panting and still on her antibiotics,,,  so I am keeping her indoors.  (need I say I am scared to death that she will eat something again). She spent the weekend with ds (I had a nice break after not worrying anymore on Sat) and he dropped her off early this morning.  I see where the infusion went (bare spot on her upper leg, no one else would notice it though) and they took the stitches out of her tummy so that is now flat.   Her tummy hair is starting to grow back.  We will play "beauty parlour later on (no bath just brushing and teeth).  As you imagine I am watching her like a hawk.

Other than that,  I've started going through the beta cassetes that dh brought back with him from home (these are the original and there are 6 old VHS tapes made of baby ds when he went to his babysitter after I went back to work,,,   from 6 months on,,  the ones that FIL/MIL "gave" us, they took back which is OK as we will go ahead and copy our own originals.  We are hoping they are better quality and we will take them to a different place to be copied and also will take just a few at a time so they don't mix them up.

Hoping to have a manicure (cancelled my appointment last Friday).   We decided to go back home mid February as there is an international food show that ds & dh need to attend. They will fly  first and I stay here with Coffee from Tuesday through Saturday,, until ds gets back on Saturday  and then I planned to fly out on that Sunday but  we could not get the flight (thanks Lufthansa!) so I will fly on the Wednesday and dh is NOT real happy about it...as he will have been a whole week without me ,,, as I could not change the fact,  I just said "I'll be there when I get there so deal with it",, I'm getting spunky in my old age. It's a crack of dawn flight for me but I'll have no luggage just my purse and my book.

Other than that,  this week I have no plans.

  What about you all?

That's good, Suzan. I hate seeing our pets being so ill.

As for the name, here's the condensed version:

Baby boy born prematurely in November 2007 and passed within a week of birth. New baby boy arrived on Saturday, healthy, full term and dad wants to give the second baby the exact same name as the first baby. New mom (she is extremely upset at the idea and who could blame her?) and dad cannot agree, grandpa (BIL) is now gunning to give father hell about it and demand that the baby is not named the same. Grandma has told grandpa to shut his mouth and mind his own business as it is their baby not his.

As outside observers, hubby and I both think that is a very bad idea to give the second baby the same name as the first. Imagine the baggage that kid will carry around, "I'm not special enough to have my own name." at some point in his life. That said, a compromise could be met with moving part of the name that the dad loves so much to a middle name and giving the new baby his very own moniker. Hubby and I also agree that his brother needs to keep his trap shut whether he agrees or not.

I have been reading my book, it's really an excellent book! I'm past half way now..LOL!!

I can understand your DS's fear of Coffee going for walks just now, no matter who is walking her. Hopefully, his fears will ease up when she's well.

Not much going on here. I'm totally looking forward to the weekend: SHOPPING and I get out of the house since I haven't really been out since Friday last week. I didn't go anywhere Sat or Sun. Monday I went to the gas station with Mom to air up my sister's tire on her car and when that didn't work I stayed home with my sister while my mom cleaned a house and we had pizza and just chilled. Then that night we stayed up late watching DVDs and having fun. Tuesday we slept in and then we watched some DVDs and today is repeat because there's snow and under the lovely snow is ice! Oh and I got new siggy done right! I told the lady who made mine to put it as Magic Makeover, when I really meant to say Makeover Magic. A member on my board had to point that out to me! (blush). So I had her fix it and I kinda felt bad to since I told her to write it like that, she was sweet and fixed. And it was all my bad!
