It's all Ann's fault!

Dh and I went out for a walk with Coffee.  We stopped by the local vet which is right down the street (ooooh really nice place, must tell ds) to inquire about an appointment for Coffee. Since it was  Sunday most people are at the mall so was pretty empty in the beauty salon part so they took her right away for a mani/pedi, foot hair trim and an oil treatment for the pads of her tender little paws (LOL).  We continued on our walk.  BTW, she is doing very well with the "leave it" command and  now suctions in only bubble gum and can spit that out lickety split when I say leave it, she can also spit that gum  a foot and a half away:tooo funny.   The weather was really nice so we walked quite a ways for about an hour and a half...   then we went back on home.  We were in the LR reading , puppy was fast asleep pooped out from the long walk. I looked out the picture window and geez,,, was it ever snowing up a storm...    of course it's all Ann's fault for mentioning sudden snow falls... LOL  Ann,  I'm thinking your snow fall is finished and came on over here.   ;O)

Ann if you are reading here tonight,,, I'm reading a NR Roberts trilogy that takes place in  Ireland and I'm wishing I could go live there...   makes me think of you when I read it!   Love the way they talk.

Oh, that's cute that Coffee got a pedi and mani..such a girlie girl..LOL!! Funny too how she spits the gum out with such gusto..LOL!! Good girl Coffee!!

Amazing on that surprise snow storm!! I so hope we don't get anymore of that stuff, but we have another month to go through, so anything could happen.

Stay in and warm over there now!

I can't believe I said this, but when John and I got home from church, I reminded him that we're going out to dinner again tonight. Then I said I am getting tired of going out to dinner!! Yea..he laughed and didn't believe it either..LOL!! We'll be going to a Mexican restaurant that neither of us have been to before. We'll be meeting his three sisters and BIL's there. His one sister suggested the place as she has 2 for 1 coupons for everyone..Cool..I'll go along with that!!

John said he wished we'd get tired of eating. I said I do sometimes..get tired of thinking of what to fix..get tired of fixing it..get tired of having to stop what I'm doing and fuss with food..wish I could just skip it sometimes and sometimes I do forget to eat lunch. The best foods are left overs!! I love left overs as I don't have to cook that night and when I have enough for

LOL, I only know I wished it away from here! Sorry it went your way.

And may I ask why Ireland reminded you of me? I'm flattered, because I love the Irish people and the way they talk, too,

The books sounds good. I like a good chick lit now and then as a respite from all those "deep" horror and fantasy books I read, LOL! I may have to put the books on my list of books to read.

And as for those gallant and romantic Irishmen.... the ones I know (dh and his 5 brothers) are more stubborn and impetuous!

mornin donna,
dh started painting the kitchen cabinets yesterday. i am really going to love them.
my dh is not one that likes to go out to eat. usually after church our pastor's wife asks if we want to go eat with them. sometimes we do, but most of the time we don't. she asked yesterday but i had put a roast in the crock pot and we came home and ate.
hopefully we will eat out on thursday, i have a neurologist appt. in savannah.
we are having leftovers tonight. i am with you girlfriend, i just love leftover nights. lol

I looked the first one up on Amazon and it got good reviews. These do sound like books I would enjoy reading. I especially love books that take place in coastal towns. I don't think I've read about Ireland before, not in this way anyway, and I know I'll like these reads. Glad you mentioned them..thanks!

For J & I, the Mexican restaurant was just so-so. It is the favorite of his sisters, but will not be our favorite. The dishes were not hot enough, the cheese was bland, and there was no gravy with the pork. The service was good and they offered Mango Margaritas, which of course I had to have. There were 22 of us and it was a good fun time. I'm with you on not wanting to only eat salad at a good steak restaurant. Will have to get back to eating lots of grilled chicken again though and grilled chicken salads until I get so sick of chicken I won't want to look at a bird again..lol!!
