I'm not going to since its probably more than just a hairline break.

I have McCune Allbright Syndrome, its where the G protein in certain cells didn't make/divide. I had surgery in 2000 and ever since then I've been in a wheel chair. I wore the external fixator for 5 months and it made my bones weak and they were weak to begin with. In 2007 I started staying in my chair because I could do more on my own and its probably a good thing too.

Yes, she's a real sweet heart and she helps me a ton!!! We might have found a doc in Iowa that has the same problems as me and he might do the rods, so we are gonna see what we can find out. I don't feel like sitting in a hospital room for a month like I did in 2003 and then go home in a body cast for 4 months! So if we do the rods, well me, I can possibly walk...again. It almost brings tears to me eyes because its over whelming and exciting at the same time!!!!

Oh Rita - please do your research on the rods before making a decision.

Oh I'm going to. Well I let my mom do the research because she knows what to questions to ask. I'm not exactly jumping up and down to have something done, but there's no one here in Oklahoma that knows about what I have. The doc in Iowa has the same disease as me and he has the rods. But yeah I will ask a ton of questions.

Thank you so much. Oh man how well do I know that one, do not just believe what any doctor suggests or tells you. When I had surgery the first time in 2000 the doc said a lot before and not too much after, but he did make my leg straight and if I hadn't had it done, it could've broke and been a whole lot worse so there have been some good things come out of it. But this is something that we will kinda take our time with because I just don't wanna be sorry in the end, kinda like I was the last time.
