1. How far back have your family roots been traced?
2. From what countries have your ancestors originated from?
3. Are you the genealogist of your family, someone else or is it a combined effort of several people?
4. What is the most interesting piece of information you have found in your family history? Anybody famous or involved in a historical moment in time?
5. Is your genealogy in published form (i.e., bound book) or is it kept all on floppy/disk or hard drive?

2. From what countries have your ancestors originated from? Scotland-Ireland, Hungarian on Mom's side...England, Holland on Dad's side. I relate most to being Hungarian as my mother and aunts talked about their heritage often growing up, ate the foods, spoke a few words, etc.
3. Are you the genealogist of your family, someone else or is it a combined effort of several people? Not me! I have a cousin on each side of the family who is doing this, but I have no idea what they've discovered.
4. What is the most interesting piece of information you have found in your family history? Anybody famous or involved in a historical moment in time? No information. If anyone was famous, I expect I would have been told by now as the cousins have been doing this for many years.
5. Is your genealogy in published form (i.e., bound book) or is it kept all on floppy/disk or hard drive? I don't know.

OMG questions I can actually answer....lol

1. How far back have your family roots been traced? - We can go back solidly about 15 generations or more, I'm not sure. I can trace my roots, sketchily to about 500 and some Norseman named Erick.
2. From what countries have your ancestors originated from? - Tom's are from Ireland on his father's side and Germany on his mother's side and My ancestors came from France, Sweden and England, mostly.
3. Are you the genealogist of your family, someone else or is it a combined effort of several people? - Tom gathers most of the info and I help type it into the computer if he has a lot. He got started by a letter from his father's cousin in Canada and it's grown tremendously since then.
4. What is the most interesting piece of information you have found in your family history? Anybody famous or involved in a historical moment in time? - I'm related to the poet, Robert Herrick and Tom is pretty sure he's related to the Daley's of Chicago (although that connection is, understandably, a bit vague) and supposedly
